8. Stay on your prospects’ and clients’ radar.
I recently created a blog post titled: “How Much Contact Is Too Much?” And one of my customers commented by saying…
“I admire the number of times you contact people and the content you provide. Quick thoughts: I just received an email from one of your competitors. She sent me a Christmas offer on article marketing. This was the first email from her since August 5. Because of the frequency of your emails and their value, I automatically think of you, not the competitor I mentioned or any other of your competitors, when I think of Article marketing. I just unsubscribed from her email list. She has not been providing me value. If you didn’t provide value to ME, I would have unsubscribed from your list long ago.”
So, stop worrying about communicating too much and start giving value to your audience. Work on building your relationships by educating your clients and prospects. 9. Start creating your own products.
If you are an affiliate marketer looking to make even more money then you want to start creating your own products. You will make a lot more money having them as your customer than by building someone else’s database of clients who they will make money from over and over – as you only get a one-time commission.
If you are a consultant or a service provider, then you want to create products. This way you have an offering for those who are not ready for your coaching or services. This will also help you build trust and allow you to nourish relationships until prospects are ready to invest in your higher-end services. This is how you will close more “bigger” sales. Plus, this will give you multiple streams of income.
