Article Writing Question #2: Many readers online are skimmers, how can you attract and pull these skimmers in so they read your articles?
My answer: On my LinkedIn group, Cindy Woodward and Terri Seymour both said: “As an article reader, not a writer, I want meat. With not a lot of time, I like articles that get to the point quickly. I’m not interested in reading how the article came to be or the “story” that happened on the way. If the article is about “5 ways to…..” I will skip past all the fluff and look for #1 and start reading there.” In order for you to attract and pull in skimmers like Cindy and Terri, you need to…
- Tell readers in the article title exactly what readers will learn so they can skim and look for it.
- Add strong subheadings to pull the skimmers in. This way they’ll know exactly where to find the information they’re looking for
- Make your tips extremely valuable so they’ll want to read the rest of your article
Article Writing Question #3: How do you instantly connect with your readers?
My answer: The more transparent you get the more believable you will become. Readers will begin to connect with you as they will realize that you understand their innermost feelings and you know what their needs are. People buy from people they trust.

Article Writing Question #6 – How do you find the best keywords for your articles?

Article Writing Question #7: What is the best strategy for using keywords in your articles?
My answer: You want to include your keywords in the first 4 words of the article title. You want to add them in the first sentence – or at the very least the first paragraph of the article. Add your keywords to your subheadings. Add your keywords within your article conclusion and in your bio box. Everywhere else, you want to lightly sprinkle your keywords in. Remember, your main focus is to provide top-notch information that makes you the thought leader – not to write articles that are stuffed with keywords just to get optimization.
